The plant was expanded several times to meet increasing demand. By 1977 the first sales were made to national retail chains. In 1987, management of the company had passed to Kenn Propp, a grandson of the original founder. In 1989s, construction started on a new plant in Yorkton.
Kenn, who grew up in the industry, restructured the company and brought in additional management with extensive industry experience. The product line was expanded to include more of the European flavours for which it had become well known.
